This Sunday marks the first 2014 SoWa open market for Fiber and Water. Held in a three block area along Harrison Avenue in the South End of Boston, SoWa is a market you don't want to miss. It is a day trip all of it's own, full of handmade goods, delicious eats, and fresh produce.
Fiber and Water sets up in the Arts Market along side over 100 other local designers and artisans selling high quality, creative crafts and fine art. After you walk through the rows of makers' tents, finding gifts galore for friends and family, treat yourself to the Food Truck Court. The curators of SoWa weren't messing around with these food options. Each truck has a unique mouth watering menu, it's hard to pick just one. Before you head out grab locally grown fresh produce, flowers, and specialty food items from the Farmers Market. Each farmer, cook, and florist is there to answer your questions, take in your comments, and create an overall dialog about eating and buying local. All of this food and art wrapped into one pretty package called SoWa Open Market. We are proud to be a part of this growing community and can't wait to kick off this season.
Stop by the Fiber and Water tent, say hello to Miles and Jansen, and pick up the perfect print (for Mother's Day perhaps) When you purchase from us at SoWa you will receive one of these cards:
We will be running a super special contest during the month of May. When you tag #fiberandwater on Instagram along side a sweetly filtered photo of your new Fiber and Water print, you will be entered to win a free 11x14 framed print of your choosing. This is a SoWa special, but I thought I would sneak it in for those loyal blog readers as well.
Check back next week for an update of photos from this weekend.
Cheers! and TGIMS (Thank Goodness It's Market Season)
