DIY Frames Edition

Yesterday I asked our Facebook followers: What is your favorite DIY project with wood pallets? This week we received a large order of frames which left us with many perfectly good wood pallets, ready to upcycle into a fun house project! With DIY on the brain I was thinking about the frames that we paint in house, available in grey or sky blue.

Dalton frames behind a stack of freshly painted grey driftwood frames.

There are so many options when it comes to frames as far as their color, shape, and texture. But the function of frames can be fun to play with as well. When I moved into my new apartment, I looked to Pinterest for some inspiration. I love having fresh flowers every day, but don't always have the table space for large flowers. This frame holding bud vases was the perfect solution and easy to make!

In search of other frame projects I found these:

Click the photo for instructions on how to make your own Grain Sack Tray using fabric, a picture frame, and handles. It's a DIY way to spruce up your dinner parties with a new serving tray.

DIY clothes line photo frame.

Another Pinterest find for my home was the clothes line photo frame. It's so easy to make and you can customize it to fit your room. Paint the frame, change the clothes pins, and choose your perfect photos to make this project the perfect decor piece. I love being able to display so many photos as once, instead of keeping them all locked away in photo albums. Click the photo for a link to instructions for this project.
