The Process

The Process

We have gone over the multiple steps it takes to frame your own piece of burlap artwork. Now, it's time to dive into the steps it takes us to get there. With each print carefully crafted one by one, we aim to produce high quality work, by hand, to give you a product that adds a little love to your home.

The first step: designing. Each style is designed by Miles with influences from food, travel, and everyday life. Along with our many offered styles, Miles works with customers everyday to create custom pieces to fit their home, whether it be a traditional monogram, or a depiction of a favorite animal, the options are endless.

Once a design has been finalized, it is printed on a film to be transferred onto a mesh screen through a photo emulsion screen printing process.

Once the design is on the screen, it is prepped to be printed. Each print is hand pressed individually. No computers or machines make this happen, it's all arm power.

We keep our ink selection stocked, always mixing new colors when customers choose to veer from the traditional black ink.

I grab the burlap from our pre-cut stacks, or a fresh blank pillow case, and I'm ready to print!

That's how it's done, each piece that we produce! And we love to share our work with you!
