Fall is here, and if you haven't noticed, we have been in anticipation of New England's best season (in our opinion). The changing of leaves and the crisp air brings along the change of home decor. We like to switch our nautical themed summer decor to a warm and cozy fall feel.
Here are some tips on how to decorate your home in the fall!
Candles, candles and more candles! I am obsessed with candles and even more with the autumn scented ones. What better way to add that welcoming warmth than the aroma of apples and spice. Grab your favorite candle scent, a hurricane vase, some leaves and BOOM you have a perfect table topper. This vase can be found at Williams Sonoma or really any other home decor store. Natural elements in a vase, need I say more? The beauty that the outdoors brings come fall, is magical. Bring some of that indoors with your favorite leave or acorn arrangement. You can get really creative here! Any vase will work for this look.
Pumpkin-flower pots are ideal with the abundance of pumpkins, everywhere you turn. Just cut off the stems, take out the seeds/guts and you have yourself a flower pot! You can also use a faux pumpkin to last longer.
Decorating your fireplace with falling leaves brings that perfect pop of autumn colors in your home. Adding a wreath will make the decor complete. You might want to use faux leaves and floral pieces here to last you all fall. Add some string of lights to provide some ambiance on a chilly night; paired with apple cider and a cozy blanket will make you wish fall never ends! Stay tuned for some future fall recipes blogs.
Add that cozy feel with some wool blanket throws. Stack them on top of your favorite chest or toss them on the couch for all to stay warm. Add some of our very own toss pillows to complete this look!
