This last weekend April & Miles were at SOWA holiday market selling some Fiber and Water products. The show was a great turn out and like always, there were many talented vendors selling handmade goods.  April took advantage and did some holiday shopping; It's a perfect opportunity to support small business and shop local. Check out some of the buys she made and a couple of our favorite vendors at the market!

Stonehouse Studio

This necklace was made by Betsy Baker, of Stonehouse Studio in Boston. It is made from a mixture of metal and polymer, synthetic low fire clay. I love the details of this necklace and artistically simple it looks. Her work is so beautiful and would be a perfect gift for the ladies in your life.

Witch City Wicks

If you know me, you know I have a slight obsession with candles, okay maybe a big one. Because I love candles and can't go a day without one lit, I especially appreciate a good quality one. Witch City Wicks is based out of Salem and prides themselves on the use of domestically grown soy wax, lead free all cotton wicks and the finest of fragrance oils. These candles burn beautifully, last long and smell great! I am currently burning the pomegranate sage and it is pure bliss. I am also a huge fan of the lavender rosemary.

The Orange Owl Shop

Aside from my love for candles, I am a big skincare junkie! There is just nothing like a fresh face and hydrated skin. The Orange Owl is based out of Vermont and is proud to say that all of their product is 100% chemical free, vegan and hand made. Not only are these products great for the environment but excellent for the skin, especially if you have sensitive skin like myself.  This face scrub was a customized one which works wonders on my problematic skin, and this body butter is the best I've ever tried! It is the perfect cure for dry, cracked winter hands and a little bit really does go a long way. I also love their body scrubs, leave the skin feeling very soft.
