Meet the Fiber and Water Team
Miles & April Perry
Husband & Wife team, April & Miles started Fiber and Water in 2012. April's genius yet simple idea came to light and Miles started silk-screening on burlap. They both loved the look and thought it would make for great wall decor, so they opened an Etsy
shop and had a sale the first day! And so began Fiber and Water...
Dylan handles the day to day silk-screening at Fiber and Water. His attention to detail and hard-working nature ensures that all of your burlap art is made right and timely! He also just finished a cross-country tandem bicycle trip with his girlfriend, Kate. Check out their blog. http://www.livinlifelite.com
Adriana handles all of our marketing & bookkeeping. She writes the blog posts, keeps up with social media and is the one that keeps us organized at Fiber and Water. When she is not working, she enjoys yoga and living a balanced lifestyle. Originally from California, she can't wait to bring "Sam the Golden" to the east coast of Maine.
Allison is our seamstress. Anything that needs to be sewn at Fiber and Water is made by her. She is extremely focused and every pillow she makes is perfect! When she isn't working you can catch her rock climbing or debating with Miles about the best place to eat dumplings.
If you've ever had the privilege of meeting Dalton, you know he is always happy providing you with fantastic customer service. Every Sunday from May-October, Dalton is busy framing and making sales at the South End Open Market
. When he is not at the markets, he also helps with framing at the Fiber and Water shop.
Some of the designs here are hand-drawn by the very talented Phoebe. Illustrating is her passion, but she has also been silk-screening the past 3 years for Fiber and Water. Say what!
When she is not working or at school, she does some illustrating for herself. Check out her other passion, Kindling Goods Shop
The burlap sack has come a long way. These prints, all hand-pressed onto burlap, are crisp examples of graphic art—and the natural texture makes them pop. Each one is produced in Fiber & Water’s coastal Maine studio. If you have any questions, feel free to Contact Us.
Thank you, The Fiber and Water team!
